TransAnatolia starts in Samsun on September 2

TransAnatolia Rally Raid is a rally race that has been held annually since 2010 and will be held for the 13th time this year. 13 competitors and 125 vehicles from 84 countries, including professional factory teams, participate in the race. Of the 125 competitors, 43 are foreign racers and this year there are competitors from countries such as Italy, Spain, Portugal, France, Netherlands, Iran and England.

The distribution of vehicles participating in TransAnatolia 2023 is as follows; In the Castrol POWER1 motorcycle category, 40 motorcycles will compete in rally and 5 motorcycles will race as raids. In the automobile category; 12 cars will compete in rally, 5 SSV and 21 raid. In the truck category, there are 2 competitors from England and Italy.

TransAnatolia, a 2350 km long challenging track, will start on September 2 in Samsun. The track of this year's race, which was prepared specifically for the 100th anniversary of the Republic and will follow the traces of the War of Independence, smells like history. After Samsun, the contestants will reach Sivas, where the Sivas Congress took place, on September 4, via Amasya, respectively. The competitors, who will reach Simav by passing through the Dumlupınar Square battlefield with the stages to be carried out in the footsteps of our cavalry, starting from the Sakarya Battlefield, where the enemy was turned back, and Çiğiltepe, the important point of the great attack, will follow the trail of Demirci Raiders and see the finish in İzmir on September 9.
