Spanish pilot Fernando Alonso Between 2010 and 2014, he won 11 races in five seasons as a Ferrari driver, but failed to increase the number of championships.

Alonso approached Vettel once again in 2012, but trailed by just three points at the end of the championship-defining race in Brazil. Vettel was relegated to the back row after the opening lap contact.
Alonso, who moved from Alpine to Aston Martin last winter, had his most productive season since leaving Ferrari in 2023, taking the podium in all but two of the first eight races.
Participating in the High Performance podcast presented by former BBC F1 presenter Jake Humphrey, Alonso admitted that missing the championship with Ferrari was his biggest regret.
Alonso: "Winning a championship with Ferrari… zamIf I could go back in time, it would probably be the first thing I would choose.” said.
“2010 and 2012 – A few laps to win the Championship. That would probably change the outcome of many things, the history behind some things.” said.
Alonso, who turned 42 last month, knows he is nearing the end of his career and wishes he could have enjoyed more of his life in F1, from the relationships he's built over the years to the memories he's made.
