YKS PREFERENCES END ON 8 AUGUST 2023

Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) announced that the 2023 Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS) preference procedures were made between 27 July and 8 August. The selection process ended yesterday.

YKS preference results will be able to learn from OSYM's website. Candidates need their TR ID numbers and passwords to learn the results.
After the announcement of the YKS results, the candidates will be able to enroll in the universities they prefer. Registration will take place between August 28 and September 1, 2023.
WHAT IS YKS UNIVERSITY REGISTRATIONS ZAMMOMENT?
The registration procedures of the candidates who were entitled to enroll in a program according to the YKS results in 2022 were made between 22-26 August. Electronic registrations expired between 22-24 August.
The registration procedures of the candidates who are entitled to enroll in a program according to the YKS results in 2023 will be made between 28 August-1 September, and electronic registrations will be made between 28-30 August.
WHAT IS YKS?
YKS is the name given to the transition examination system from secondary education to higher education, which has been implemented in our country by ÖSYM (Assessment, Selection and Placement Center) since 2018 and repeated every year.
YKS is the exam that everyone who has completed high school education must take in order to go to university. It is carried out in order to ensure that students to be admitted to higher education programs are selected and placed according to their preferences. YKS consists of 3 sessions and candidates are asked questions from the high school curriculum. The first session (TYT) is mandatory. The Higher Education Institutions Exam is very important for all students who dream of university.
