Fisker continues its breakthroughs in the electric car world without slowing down. The brand will expand its portfolio with the electric pickup Alaska introduced today. The model, whose first hints were shown at the Fisker Product Vision Day event, was officially introduced at Monterey.

The model, which will rise on the platform called FM31 by the brand, is expected to offer a minimum range of 550 km. Production of the vehicle will begin in 2025.

CEO Henrik Fisker, who took the stage during the promotion, announced that Alaska will be “the lightest electric pickup in history”. In addition, the model will be a pioneer in terms of sustainability. Every piece of Alaska will be created from recyclable vegan materials.

Another highlight of the electric pickup model will be the chassis system called "Houdini". The section located just behind the rear seats of the vehicle can be closed completely by electronically opening. In this way, you can have more luggage volume by moving the seats to the horizontal position.

Fisker will offer Alaska with two different batteries. The standard model comes with a 75 kWh battery and a range of 370 km. The next-level 113 kWh battery will offer a total range of 550 km. It should be noted that these data may change in the coming days.

We expect the model, whose output data are not yet known, to use the engine types of Ocean. The entry-level version of the model will be able to produce 275 horsepower. On higher equipment, this power can reach up to 550 hp.

Fisker will begin manufacturing the model in 2025.
