Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Industry and Information Technology Xin Guobin emphasized that new energy vehicles are the main direction for the transformation and improvement of the global automobile industry, green development, and a strategic choice. Fu Bingfeng, Vice President and Secretary General of the Automobile Manufacturers Association, stated that this record has become an important part of the NEV industry in China. Fu also noted that it took more than 0 years for new energy vehicles in China to go from 10 to 20 million, but only 10 years to go from 20 million to 2 million.
