China has set a new record in the field of new energy vehicles (NEV), and the country's 20 millionth NEV was produced at the GAC Aion company's factory in Guangzhou. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technologies celebrated this important milestone with a ceremony.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Industry and Information Technology Xin Guobin emphasized that new energy vehicles are the main direction for the transformation and improvement of the global automobile industry, green development, and a strategic choice. This record indicates that the NEV industry in China has entered a stage of large-scale, globalized and high-quality development.

Fu Bingfeng, Vice President and Secretary General of the Automobile Manufacturers Association, stated that this record has become an important part of the NEV industry in China. Fu also noted that it took more than 0 years for new energy vehicles in China to go from 10 to 20 million, but only 10 years to go from 20 million to 2 million.

China has gained a great momentum in the field of new energy vehicles in recent years. The NEV market has grown rapidly with the combination of the government's incentive policies, the focus of domestic manufacturers on NEV production and technological developments. This achievement demonstrates China's leadership in sustainable transportation and its commitment to green development goals.
