The exciting second leg of the MOTUL Turkey Karting Championship was held under the main sponsorship of ICRYPEX. A total of 5 athletes in 64 different categories participated in the organization held in Tuzla Karting Park. Organized by Tuzla Motorsports Sports Club (TMK), the races provided unforgettable moments for karting enthusiasts.
The first races, which started on a sunny day on Saturday, passed at a high tempo. The races, which were the scene of exciting struggles, gave the audience a great pleasure. However, the weather changed on Sunday and the second and third races, which took place in wet weather, put the drivers' skills and abilities to the test.
Doruk Sırnaç came first, Guido Ebergenyi Milicevic second and Efe Bozkurt third in the 6-9 age micro category, the smallest category of the races. In the mini category, the results have entered the appeal process due to objections and will be announced later. In the junior category between the ages of 12-15, Yağız Tekşan ranked first, Hakkı Dorum second and Ayşe Çebi third. In the senior category over the age of 14, Kerim Sulyak came in first, Gün Taşdelen came in second and Timothy Lamberts came in third. In the over 30 masters category, Murathan Gür shared the first place, Can Özdoğan second and Mehmet Çınar third. Ayşe Çebi came first in the women's junior category, Leyla Sulyak came in second and Nisan Kalkavan came in third. In the women's senior category, Sena Savaşer came first and Zeynep Çukurova came second. Dynamic Racing Team won the team's first place in the race.
The excitement of the MOTUL Türkiye Karting Championship does not end. The races will continue with the third leg races to be organized by Kocaeli Karting and Automobile Sports Club (KO-KART) on July 22-23 at TOSFED Körfez Racetrack. Athletes will compete against each other in these challenging races to increase their championship points.
