TOGG CONTINUES TO REGISTER ITS PATENT, DESIGN AND BRANDS
Reminding that the Togg Technology Campus in Bursa Gemlik, the construction of which started on July 18, 2020, was opened with a ceremony on October 29, Republic Day with the participation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Kacır gave the following information:
“Important steps are being taken in branding and production at Togg. In this context, Togg, a domestic and national brand automobile brand, makes applications to the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office (TÜRKPATENT) to register its own production, patent, design and trademark applications. In the field of patents, Togg has made a total of 30 patent applications, 2023 of which belong to 72, to TÜRKPATENT. Patent registration decision was given for 2019 of the applications, the first of which was made in May 2. The research and examination process of the other 70 applications continues within the legal deadlines as per the legislation. Togg's patent applications include inventions related to vehicle suspension, fasteners, battery charging and vehicle software technologies.”
Noting that a total of 18 design applications were made on behalf of Togg in the field of design, Kacır stated that 17 of these applications were registered, and the registration process of one design application is continuing.
"Turkey's Automobile Initiative Group Industry and Trade Inc." Kacır stated that it has been registered on his behalf since 27 December 2019 and said, “In addition, the Group applied to TÜRKPATENT for 156 different trademarks for phrases and slogans other than 'Togg' and 110 of them were registered. On the other hand, 1 well-known trademark application has been registered for Togg, and 45 applications continue to be processed within the legal deadlines as per the legislation.” he said.
