The new Renault Rafale is positioned at the top of Renault's product range, using the E-Tech hybrid system and the CMF-CD platform.

Accordingly, the single-seat racing aircraft C460, designed to break the record, was renamed Rafale in 1934.
The new Renault Rafale is the first model designed and produced according to the new visual language created by Renault Design Vice President Gilles Vidal as the leader of “Design Renault”. The new model ushers in a powerful new era in Renault design.
