Audi AG donated 1 million Euros to UNO-Flüchtlingshilfe to support disaster victims in Turkey and Syria.

Audi AG is now making another important contribution, after Volkswagen Group announced the first financial aid on behalf of group brands to contribute to humanitarian aid shortly after the earthquake in Kahramanmaraş.

Audi AG donated 1 million Euros to UNO-Flüchtlingshilfe to help the victims of disasters in Turkey and Syria.

Making a statement on the subject, AUDI AG Board Member Responsible for Human Resources and Organization Xavier Ros said, “The people of Turkey and Syria have suffered greatly from this terrible disaster. We couldn't just stand and watch, instead we're taking concrete steps.”

UNO-Flüchtlingshilfe National Director Peter Ruhenstroth-Bauer expressed his gratitude to AUDI AG for its exemplary assistance.

Employee benefits reached 270 thousand Euros

AUDI AG employees showed a very strong example of solidarity in many events, such as the war in Ukraine or the 2021 flood in Germany. The fact that the Turkish employees at Audi have family and friends living in the earthquake zone has further increased the empathy and willingness to help among all Audi employees. Group-wide personnel donation for earthquake victims reached approximately 270 thousand Euros.
