US statement from Iran: No possibility of negotiation

Erakçi, speaking to the press in Tehran, said, “Currently, there is no possibility of negotiations with the U.S. because we see neither a positive nor a constructive approach from the U.S.”

Erakçi stated that “nuclear negotiations could potentially resume if the U.S. side is ready for negotiations based on equality and a mutually beneficial agreement.”

The nuclear negotiation process between Iran and the U.S., which began in April, was halted after Israel and the U.S. launched attacks on Iran.

In the subsequent process, efforts mediated by Oman to restart negotiations between the two countries failed due to the U.S. demands for Iran to completely halt uranium enrichment activities and to restrict its missile program.
