Train accident in Slovakia: At least 18 injured

The toll of the accident that occurred as a result of a collision between 2 passenger trains on the suburban line between Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia, and Pezinok, located in the northeast, is beginning to become clear.

AT LEAST 18 INJURED IN SLOVAKIA TRAIN ACCIDENT

According to reports in the Slovakian press; it was reported that at least 18 people were injured in the accident.

It was announced that the injured are receiving treatment at four different health facilities affiliated with Bratislava University Hospital (UNB).

The exact cause of the accident is unknown, but Slovak Railways (ZSSK) has launched a detailed investigation into the incident.

2 PASSENGER TRAINS COLLIDED

The two passenger trains running on the suburban line between Bratislava and Pezinok collided, and it was announced that there were injuries.

On October 13, in another train accident near Jablonov nad Turnou in eastern Slovakia, a total of 20 people were injured, 2 of them seriously.
