A Carbon Monster from Brabus: Rocket GTS Mean Green

German tuning giant Brabus has launched its most ambitious work on the Mercedes-AMG SL 63 SE Performance. Rocket GTS Mean Greenintroduced the model. Transforming the SL, a standard roadster, into a “shooting brake” form made entirely of carbon fiber, Brabus has created a rare engineering marvel in the automobile world. The signature “Mean Green” color, which gives its name to the project, combines with shining carbon details and emphasizes both the fierce and prestigious character of the vehicle.

1000 Horsepower Hybrid Power Unit

At the heart of the vehicle is Mercedes-AMG’s 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, but Brabus has pushed the limits by increasing this unit to 4.5 liters. Equipped with custom turbochargers and software updates, the Rocket GTS is fully 1,000 hppower and electronically limited 1,620 Nmproduces torque. This huge power allows the car to accelerate from 0 to 97 km/h in just 2.6 seconds. This “hyper-wagon”, whose maximum speed is limited to 317 km/h, has an acceleration that will overshadow even the most established super sports cars.

Functional Super Car: 2+2 Living Space

Rocket GTS Mean Green draws attention not only with its performance, but also with the comfort and storage space it offers. Thanks to the extended rear roof structure, the 2+2 seating arrangement is maintained and a much larger luggage volume is offered than a standard SL model. Inside the cabin, Brabus craftsmanship is felt at every point with Alcantara and specially stitched leather upholstery. Brabus Monoblock P Platinum Edition wheels and adjustable sports suspension system ensure that this huge power is transferred to the road flawlessly.
