Voting Preferences for Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor
- In our study, we predict that CHP candidate Ahmet Akın will win the election, assuming that the People's Alliance will participate in the election with its current president Yücel Yılmaz and İyi Party with its most popular name in Balıkesir, Turhan Çömez.
-Akın was seen as "the name that made sacrifices" last term, İsmail Ok, who was made a candidate after Ahmet Akın withdrew from candidacy last term, moved to the AK Party, and Akın was one of the 15 MPs who joined the good party so that the good party could participate in the election. These reasons cause Akın to receive a very high rate of votes from the good party base.
-The same reasons affect all opposition voters except the Good Party. In summary, although there is no national alliance, the grassroots in Balıkesir seem to be gathered in the "Ahmet Akın alliance".
The research was carried out with the CATI Survey method with a total of 17 people in Balıkesir between 20 and 2023 December 1900.
Voting Preferences for Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor
– In the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality elections, with the disintegration of the national alliance, we see that the Dem party – Tip base has gathered around the name of the current mayor Tunç Soyer.
-Iyi Party voters continue to turn towards CHP in response to the risk of the People's Alliance candidate "getting out of the picture". For this reason, it seems that Ümit Özlale is rapidly losing the popularity he had at the time of his debut.
-Ümit Özlale's direct opposition to Tunç Soyer was another factor that pushed DEM/TİP voters towards Tunç Soyer. The low recognition of CHP's other candidates and especially the perception of Buğra Gökçe as an "imported candidate from Istanbul" also led the CHP grassroots and organization to gather around Tunç Soyer as the "Strongest Candidate from Izmir".

Voting Preferences for Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor
-Since only the CHP candidate has been announced so far in the Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Mayoral elections, we preferred to ask the other names hypothetically. Although there is a serious meltdown in the People's Alliance in Bursa, we see that the AK Party candidate is one step ahead due to the dissolution of the National Alliance.
-The name Mustafa Bozbey is a respected name in every segment of the opposition. For this reason, the İyi Party can be expected to lose some more votes towards the election.
-On the other hand, there is still a possibility that the DEM party will not nominate a candidate. If the Dem party does not nominate a candidate, we expect Bozbey to win the election.
