The winner of the contest was Willy-Overland for $ 738,74. The name of this model was CJ1A. This vehicle, which is very luxurious for a military vehicle, had awning and automatic windows. The following year, this vehicle, which kept pretty good in the army, was made available to the civilian population with the name CJ2 and a few differences.
