Lexus started accepting 2021 applications at the Lexus Design Awards, organized to support future designers. Due to the pandemic, the results of the 2020 Design Awards will be announced on September 1, and the original works of the designers are expected for the 9th time.
The awards will once again bring out the best by combining creative talent from around the world.
Believing that design has the power to change the world, Lexus zamnow he thinks this will inspire ideas that will improve people's lives. Each participant is expected to combine their designs with the three main principles of the Lexus brand: “Knowing Needs Ahead,” Innovation ”, and“ Glamor ”.
Jury members to be announced in the fall for the 2021 awards; it will consist of designers, academics and commentators. Six finalists will be selected among all participants and budget support will be provided to turn their ideas into prototypes. In the prototype production stage, finalists will receive mentorship from designers who are known worldwide. Then the Grand Prix winner will be announced among the finalists.

In 2021, applications are expected to include a wide range of applications, from industrial design to architecture, technology, fashion, engineering and interior design. Applications will be accepted until October 11, 2020.
