Citroën will launch the second-generation C5 Aircross model in Türkiye in November. The new C5 Aircross stands out with its powerful and prestigious exterior, aerodynamic lines, and comfortable interior features.

Citroën has completely revamped its product line in less than two years with the new C5 Aircross. Positioned as the brand's new flagship, the model embodies the brand's expertise with a range of vehicles, each with its own unique identity. The new C5 Aircross will be launched in the C-SUV segment as the production version of the concept unveiled at the 2024 Paris Motor Show.

Developed on the STLA Medium platform, the new C5 Aircross measures 4.652 millimeters long, 1.902 millimeters wide, and has a wheelbase of 2.784 millimeters. While ground clearance remains at 200 millimeters, the aerodynamic drag coefficient has been reduced to 0,75. This development has improved fuel consumption and efficiency compared to the previous generation.

Produced at the Citroën factory in Rennes, France, the vehicle is equipped with Citroën Matrix LED headlights, wheel options up to 20 inches and color details in line with the brand's current design language.

The interior of the new C5 Aircross has been designed in accordance with the C-Zen Lounge architecture. Soft-touch surfaces, a 13-inch touchscreen, head-up display, heated and cooled seats, and rear seat tilt adjustment are available for the driver and passengers.

The Citroën Advanced Comfort suspension system, with its Progressive Hydraulic Cushions technology, filters out road imperfections, enhancing ride comfort. The model also features customizable digital displays, a regenerative braking system, Citroën Matrix LED headlights, and three driving modes (Normal, Eco, Sport).

With its 2,78-meter wheelbase, the C5 Aircross offers ample interior space for its segment. The 565-liter trunk volume expands to 1.668 liters with the rear seats folded down. A hands-free power tailgate and additional storage areas are also included.

The new C5 Aircross will be available with hybrid and fully electric powertrain options. The C5 Aircross Hybrid 145 HP model, with its 48-volt hybrid technology, can operate in up to 50 percent electric mode in urban driving. The hybrid system combines a 136 hp gasoline engine with a 12 hp electric motor and is offered with a 6-speed eDCS dual-clutch automatic transmission.

The all-electric ë-C5 Aircross version, with its 210 hp engine and 73 kWh battery, provides a range of up to 520 kilometers on the WLTP cycle. With 160 kW fast charging support, the vehicle can be charged from 20 percent to 80 percent in 30 minutes.

The new C5 Aircross is made using recycled materials. It includes 160 kilograms of recycled metal, 47 kilograms of bio-based plastic, and organic plastics made from grapes grown in Burgundy.

Developed in France and produced at the Rennes factory, the new Citroën C5 Aircross will be available in the Turkish market in November.
