Deliveries of the 42 electric buses, won in collaboration with its Italian dealer Kmobility, are scheduled for June 2026. With Karsan brand vehicles currently in service in over 40 Italian cities, the company maintains a strong presence in the country. Having achieved another success in Bari, Italy, one of its main target markets, Karsan will deliver 42 e-ATA 18-meter articulated buses through its Italian dealer KMobility in June 2026. This tender, which strengthens Karsan's presence in Italy's growing zero-emission bus market, also represents a significant step forward in Bari's sustainable and high-capacity public transportation strategy.
The vehicles will begin service in the summer of 2026.
Karsan is reinforcing its role as a pioneer in the electric public transportation transformation in Italy with new agreements. Karsan, having won a tender for the new Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project to be implemented by the Italian municipality of Bari, will deliver the first buses to serve in the project in 2026.

The 18-meter Karsan e-ATA vehicles, which will strengthen Bari's public transportation infrastructure, offer two independent charging ports, each rated at 300 kW, enabling simultaneous high-speed charging and a quick recharge, providing a range of over 450 kilometers under Bari's real-world driving conditions. Designed in accordance with European standards, the vehicles will meet the residents of Bari's need for modern and environmentally friendly public transportation.
