China's automotive industry saw double-digit growth in many economic indexes in the first three quarters of 2025.
According to information released today by the China Automotive Industry Association, China's automobile production and sales reached 24.33 million and 24.36 million units, respectively, in the first nine months of the year. These figures represent annual increases of 13,3 percent and 12,9 percent, respectively.
In this context, new-energy automobile production and sales have consistently exceeded 11 million units. These figures have consistently exceeded 30 percent.
During the same period, China's automobile exports increased by 14,8 percent, exceeding 4.95 million units. Meanwhile, new-energy automobile exports increased by 89,4 percent, exceeding 1.758 million units.
