It leaves its rivals behind with its maneuverability and comfort!
Frost & Sullivan Analyst Saideep Sudhakar made the following assessment about the award and Karsan: “The next wave of zero-carbon cities will focus on autonomous vehicles to address critical challenges such as improving safety and reducing operating costs. Karsan’s autonomous bus, the Autonomous e-ATAK, provides zero-emission transit and eliminates human errors in traffic. The vehicle eliminates the need for human control by sensing road and environmental conditions on defined routes. It can also perform driverless operations such as managing upcoming stops, stopping times, passenger boarding and alighting, and responding to intersections, crossings, and traffic lights. Karsan buses also outperform rival brands with their compact design, high maneuverability, and passenger comfort. Its 50-year legacy in the Turkish minibus market and its extensive knowledge of the transportation needs of European countries further contribute to its success in developing climate-friendly minibus products. Karsan manages the entire automotive value chain from R&D to production, marketing, sales, and after-sales activities, enabling the development of innovative products and services in the public transportation sector and “It can accelerate its commercialization. Karsan’s heavy investments in distribution and after-sales services have resulted in repeat orders from most European countries.”
