Karsan to Introduce e-ATA LE Model at UITP Global Public Transport Summit 2025

Playing a leading role in the transformation of public transportation systems to electric and autonomous solutions, Karsan will participate in the UITP Global Public Transport Summit 15, which will be held in Hamburg, Germany, between June 18-2025. At the event, Karsan is preparing to introduce its 100% electric model, e-ATA LE, which is among the brand new generation public transportation solutions, to the public for the first time.

UITP Summit 2025 will bring together more than 100 participants from more than 10 countries and will be an important platform where representatives from 340 sectors will share their views and predictions. In addition to its current electric vehicle portfolio, Karsan will also exhibit its new e-ATA LE model, which is designed to meet the long-range needs of the public transportation sector.

Making Its First Appearance

The e-ATA LE model, which Karsan will introduce for the first time, is positioned in the Class 2 category. This vehicle has been specially developed for long-range public transportation needs, such as remote points within the city and close intercity lines. E-ATA LE is considered an important step towards expanding Karsan's electric vehicle portfolio.

Karsan will also be exhibiting its e-JEST model, which is available in the European electric minibus market, and its Autonomous e-ATAK, a Level 4 autonomous public transport vehicle that can move without a driver on a planned route, during the fair. Karsan CEO Okan Baş emphasized in a statement before the event that the e-ATA LE model aims to fill an important gap in the electric public transport transformation. Baş stated that they anticipate that the new model will attract great interest from the sector and that they are making plans to spread this solution throughout Europe.
