Türkiye is Drawing a New and Green Road Map in Transportation
Turkey, one of the world’s leading automotive manufacturing centers, is entering a new era focused on sustainability in the transportation sector. Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu announced the implementation of the “Net Zero Emission Roadmap in Transportation Project” within the framework of an important financial cooperation with the European Union (EU). This strategic project aims to significantly reduce carbon emissions in the transportation sector and to create a green, digital and sustainable transportation infrastructure in Türkiye. In line with this vision, Karsan, which has assumed a leading role on a global scale in the transformation of public transportation infrastructure with electric and autonomous vehicles, clearly demonstrated its belief and contribution to the project by participating in this important launch. Karsan was represented at the launch by Deputy General Manager of Domestic Sales and External Relations Muzaffer Arpacıoğlu and Domestic Sales Manager Adem Metin, and this participation once again revealed the company’s ambitious goals for a net zero emission future.
Karsan: Strong Contribution to Türkiye's Zero Emission Target
Making evaluations after the launch event, Karsan Domestic Sales and Foreign Relations Deputy General Manager Muzaffer Arpacıoğlu drew attention to Karsan’s global electric vehicle fleet and said, “As Karsan, today, we are pioneering the transition to zero emission in public transportation by putting thousands of our electric vehicles on the roads all around the world, from Europe to North America and across the oceans to Japan. In Türkiye, we are leading the transformation of cities with our e-ATA, e-ATAK and e-JEST models in many cities such as Antalya, Bursa, Istanbul, Gaziantep, Mersin and Kahramanmaraş, and setting new standards for green transportation.” Emphasizing that Karsan is not limited to electric vehicles only, but also leads the transformation of sustainable transportation with hydrogen and autonomous solutions, Arpacıoğlu said, “We are very proud to be the driving force of sustainable mobility in Türkiye’s net zero target and to build the future today.” These statements clearly demonstrate Karsan's critical role in achieving Türkiye's zero emission target and its vision in this area.
e-ATA 12m Attracts Attention at Launch
