The robot’s upper body will have a spherical revolute joint configuration, providing a total of 24 degrees of freedom, seven on each arm, four on the gripper, and two on the head. This structure allows the robot to perform complex autonomous tasks. Kiran Akella, the scientist leading the design team, stated that the humanoid robot project is aimed to be completed by 2027.
