What is a Level 3 Autonomous Vehicle?

Level 3 autonomous vehicles are vehicles that can drive themselves without requiring driver intervention under certain conditions. At this level, vehicles can drive themselves on certain roads, such as highways, at certain speeds, change lanes, and overtake other vehicles. However, the driver must always be alert and take over when necessary.

This statement is considered an important step in Türkiye's automotive industry. Domestic autonomous vehicle production will contribute to Türkiye's goals of increasing its technological independence and increasing its competitiveness in the automotive sector.
