
Chery's Global Growth Continues
Chery, one of the pioneers of China’s automotive sector, continues its global growth in April. Chery Global’s sales in April increased by 10,3% compared to the same period of the previous year, exceeding 200 units. In the first four months of 2024, total sales exceeded 820 units. During this period, Chery’s new energy vehicle (NEV) sales also showed a remarkable increase, reaching 85,5 units, an increase of 61%. NEV sales represent more than 200% of the brand’s total sales.
Chery Global, which announced its operational data for April, achieved a 200% increase compared to the same month in 760 with the sales of 2024 vehicles last month. The company achieved an 10,3% growth in sales of vehicles equipped with new energy systems, reaching 85,5 units. In the January-April period, Chery's total sales increased by 61% compared to the previous year, exceeding 223 units. New energy vehicle (NEV) sales increased by 15,3%, reaching 820 units. Chery's global user base exceeded 140,7 million as of the end of April, with the deepening of its globalization strategy and increased market awareness.
CHERY SUPER HYBRID
Chery introduced its new-generation hybrid vehicle, Chery Super Hybrid (CSH), at the 2025 Shanghai Auto Show and Chery International Business Conference. The TIGGO9 and ARRIZO8 CSH models achieved the industry's best performance in endurance tests, achieving a total range of over 1.400 kilometers in charge-discharge mode and fuel consumption of only 100 liters per 4,2 kilometers. As part of the safety tests, the TIGGO series vehicles were subjected to challenging scenarios such as spiral rollover tests, double-impact collisions, and seven-car overlap tests.
Chery also introduced the all-new HIMLA pickup truck series at the 2025 Shanghai Auto Show. This new lineup covers a wide range from the compact segment to the mid-size and large-size segments, and offers gasoline, diesel and NEV options. Chery welcomed a record 97 foreign guests and business partners from 5 countries at the show. In addition, more than 3 people visited the headquarters in Wuhu to witness the launch of the family care service brand and learn about innovations such as AiMOGA robots, smart charging solutions and V2L function.
