Sea Wolf Exercise 2/2025: Powerful Show in Blue Homeland
DHA Turkish Naval Forces Held between May 6-17 by 'Sea Wolf 2/2025' The exercise is being carried out with great care in the Mediterranean. The main purpose of this exercise is to train Naval Forces units in threatening environments. reasoning, foresight ve decision-making abilities to develop, and also to cooperate with participating force commands their joint work is to execute effectively.
Common Missions: Stronger Together
In this context, the Naval Forces Command, Land Forces Command, Air Forces Command, Gendarmerie General Command and Coast Guard Command come together and carry out joint tasks. The exercise, which continues off the coast of Antalya, 104 surface ships, 6 submarines, 7 unmanned marine vehicles, 52 air elements, 1 underwater attack team, 2 underwater defense teams, coastal units and other air, land and sea elements are participating.
First Use of Atmaca Missile and Bayraktar TB3
In this year's exercise, the first test firing was made in 2019 and the Hawk missile when used for the first time, Bayraktar TB3 Unmanned Aerial Vehicle also took part in the exercise after the test firings. This development shows the point reached by the Turkish Defense Industry and the increase in naval power.
Distinguished Observer Day: International Participation
The exercise Distinguished Observer Day, TCG Anadolu was held on a multi-purpose amphibious ship. On this special day, Land Forces Commander General Selçuk Bayraktaroğlu, Air Forces Commander General Ziya Cemal Kadıoğlu, Naval Forces Commander Admiral Ercüment Tatlıoğlu, Defense Industry President Haluk Görgün and BAYKAR Chairman of the Board Selcuk Bayraktar Important names such as, along with 28 attachés and their assistants from 29 countries, attended as observers.
Naval Air Operations: Realistic Scenarios
On Distinguished Observer Day, a submarine was launched by sea patrol aircraft as per the scenario. On the same day, a submarine was launched to a designated island. cannon shot made and then helicopters also hit the same point. Then, Bayraktar TB3 Unmanned Aerial Vehicle conducted a test launch. In this launch, which was watched with great interest by observers, TB3 effectively hit targets determined on the island from a height of 10 thousand feet. Two TB2s, which took off from the TCG Anadolu ship, landed back after completing their 3-minute mission.
Ceremonial Parade with Sea and Air Vehicles
At the end of the exercise, a sea exercise was held with the participation of sea and air vehicles. Ceremonial passage was organized. During the passage, the ships and aircraft saluted the TCG Anadolu Ship and emphasized that the exercise was completed successfully. Such events reinforce the national defense capability of the Turkish Armed Forces and its presence in the Blue Homeland.
