Sözen also emphasized that the maintenance costs of electric vehicles are 75 percent lower than traditional vehicles.

Management Consultant and Independent Board Member Nilüfer Günhan, in his presentation titled “Future Trends and Automotive”, conveyed that changing consumer habits and new mega trends are reshaping the automotive sector. Günhan stated that the automotive sector will increasingly take on a more polarized structure and that OEMs are starting to focus on local strategies rather than global approaches.

Mehmet Karakoç, CEO of Bakırcı Group also touched on the importance of developing after-sales services and service infrastructure for electric vehicles.
