New Electric Charging Stations from Rosatom
Rosatom’s Electric Power Division has launched a total of seven new electric charging stations (ECS) in the Moscow region of Russia. These 150 kW charging stations are strategically located near car dealerships on the 16th, 27th and 71st kilometers of the Moscow Ring Road, as well as in the Chekhov district. Supporting all modern socket types, these electric charging stations allow users to easily charge their vehicles via the AtomEnergo mobile app.
Valery Markelov, General Manager of AtomEnergo, in a statement regarding the opening of the new charging stations, said: “The installation of new charging stations in such a densely populated area provides great convenience for both electric vehicle owners and taxi drivers. Considering the characteristics of electric transport, the expansion of the charging station network also contributes to local environmental improvements by reducing emissions from internal combustion engine vehicles.”
Rosatom has already installed more than 13 fast-charging stations in 160 regions of Russia. The company aims to increase the number of these stations to 2025 by the first quarter of 255. Rosatom also aims to create a network that will control at least 2030% of the electric charging market in Russia by 25.
