As of today, we provide service in Romania with 285 vehicles, and this number will increase rapidly in a short time, almost doubling. With this agreement we signed with Constanta, one of the most important symbols of the friendly relations between Romania and Turkey, and the delivery of other tender agreements we have won in the recent period, we expect the total number of electric vehicles in the country to reach 525 by the end of this year. The strong cooperation we maintain with our Romanian distributor AAR (Anadolu Automobile Rom) has a major share in this success. “Our goal is to have the largest electric public transport fleet in Romania by 2025, and we continue to take big steps towards this goal,” he said.

Operating in a very wide geography from the USA to Japan, Karsan is increasing its power with new collaborations and agreements in its main target markets. In this context, the company is preparing to provide service with 12-meter 100% electric Karsan e-ATA buses in Constanta, one of the most important tourism cities in the country. Karsan, which signed an agreement with the Constanta Municipality, one of the most effective cities in Romania in tourism, for 22 e-ATA 12-meters, will thus begin to provide service in 49 different locations in the country.
Karsan fleet in Romania will reach 525 vehicles!
Karsan, which had recently signed for the delivery of 22 e-ATA 12m buses to the Romanian city of Craiova, then signed agreements for the delivery of 20 e-JEST buses to the city of Buzau, 30 e-ATA 12m buses to Sibiu, 3 e-ATA 18m buses to the city of Șimleu Silvaniei, 16 e-ATA 10m buses to the city of Buzau, and 6 e-JEST buses to the municipalities of Alba Iulia and Ciugud. In addition to these, according to the agreement signed with the Constanta Municipality, the 2025-meter Karsan e-ATA buses, which will be delivered in 12, will make a major contribution to environmentally friendly transportation in the region.
