TOYOTA GAZOO Racing achieved another historic success by winning the Constructors’ Championship in the season finale of the FIA World Endurance Championship. The 8 Hours of Bahrain hosted the final race of the eight-leg season, with Toyota’s #8 GR8 HYBRID passing the chequered flag in first place, with a 010-second lead over its nearest rival.
With this winning car, in which Sébastien Buemi, Brendon Hartley and Ryo Hirakawa competed, Toyota won the Manufacturers' Championship for the sixth time in a row. Sébastien Buemi's fast laps in the final stages of the race, along with his ability to pass his rivals, contributed to Toyota's historic victory. Following these results, TOYOTA GAZOO Racing won the championship by 2 points.
TOYOTA GAZOO Racing achieved a total of five podiums, three wins and two pole positions in the 2024 season. The team, which came in first with 190 points, once again managed to be the best in endurance racing.
Kamui Kobayashi, the team's manager and one of its drivers, who completed the WEC season with an important victory in motorsports, stated that success comes with teamwork, saying, "I would like to thank everyone for the support we have received from all over the world. Winning the Constructors' Championship is a great achievement and it is the result of teamwork, including our colleagues and partners at Toyota. Car number 8 deserved the victory after an incredible race. This championship was the result that everyone in the team wanted and they gave everything to achieve it."

TOYOTA GAZOO Racing, which continues to achieve success in top-level series such as the World Rally Championship (WRC) and the World Endurance Championship (WEC), declared the Manufacturers' Championship in the World Rally-Rail Championship (W1RC) last week, competing with the GR DKR Hilux T2+.
