Offering all the basic functions of Mercedes-Benz's luxury sedan EQS in a more compact design and featuring a 160 kW electric motor exclusive to Turkey, the EQE 280 AMG will be on sale starting from October with prices starting from 3.886.500 TL.
The AMG exterior design features the front bumper, sporty air intake grilles and chrome trim, as well as the Mercedes-Benz star-patterned radiator panel, a chrome-plated, shiny and integrated Mercedes star. The rear design features a three-dimensional LED rear light cluster and a special diffuser in the rear bumper with AMG-specific chrome trim. The coupé-like lines and frameless doors also complement the exterior design. The design of the EQE 280 AMG is shaped as desired with the optional Night Package, MANUFAKTUR colour options and different wheel designs.
Over 600 meters illumination range with Digital Light
In addition to the daytime LEDs reflecting the characteristic design of the vehicle, DIGITAL LIGHT headlights that support night driving are offered as standard. With DIGITAL LIGHT, each headlight has powerful light modules with a total of 1,3 million LEDs. This system provides high-resolution light distribution that adapts very successfully to ambient conditions. The camera and sensors in the car detect other users in traffic, evaluate the data and digital maps with the help of powerful computers in milliseconds and give the headlights the lighting command appropriate to the conditions. In this way, the best possible lighting performance is achieved without glare in the eyes of other traffic users. With the ULTRA RANGE function, it has a lighting potential even higher than the legal limit of 600 meters.
Futuristic ambiance in the interior
The Electric Art or AMG interior design concepts stand out with their 12,3-inch fully digital instrument cluster and 12,8-inch OLED central media display in vertical format. The multifunction steering wheel covered in nappa leather, the air vents with chrome elements and the front console with 64-colour active ambient lighting create a futuristic atmosphere.
The optional Hyperscreen creates a comfortable user experience with its bright OLED displays featuring haptic feedback and the innovative ‘Zero Layer’ user interface. The individually adjustable 12,3-inch fully digital instrument cluster displays key driving information, while the MBUX multimedia system can be intuitively controlled thanks to the haptic feedback provided by the 17,7-inch OLED central media display. The 12,3-inch OLED passenger display provides front-seat passengers with access to multimedia functions.
High comfort in both front and rear seats
With the Memory Package, the driver's seat, exterior mirrors and steering column can be stored as desired by the driver and changed according to the driver. In addition, the 4-way lumbar support, heating and storage compartment under the center console in both the driver and front passenger seats provide high-level comfort. The optional THERMOTRONIC four-zone automatic air conditioning system for the rear seats provides special climate control for the rear seat passengers, while heated rear seats and an additional USB port elevate the in-car experience.
The 430-litre boot folds in a 40:20:40 ratio and can be expanded by folding the rear seats when necessary.
The Burmester® 3D surround sound system with 15 high-performance loudspeakers, each with its own amplifier channel and tuned to the vehicle interior, optimises the sound for the front, rear or all seats, while creating a speed-dependent sound experience that suits the occupants of the EQE 280 AMG to suit different driving styles.
Range up to 622 kilometers
The EQE 280 AMG increases the electric driving range with its 218 horsepower (160 kW) engine. Thanks to its battery with a capacity of approximately 280 kWh, the EQE 90 AMG has a range of 622 km (WLTP), making it the EQE model with the highest range offered in Turkey to date.
Great comfort in different driving styles and daily use with optional preferences
The EQE 280 AMG, which features a four-link front suspension and a multi-link rear suspension, can optionally be equipped with the AIRMATIC air suspension with ADS+ adaptive suspension system. The standard rear-axle steering with an angle of up to 10 degrees offers superior road holding, significantly increased agility and improved manoeuvrability. When manoeuvring at speeds below 60 km/h, the rear wheels are steered 10 degrees away from the front wheels. This reduces the car’s turning circle by a virtual two metres. At high speeds, the rear wheels are steered up to 2,5 degrees in the same direction as the front wheels. This virtually lengthens the wheelbase, creating a more dynamic and stable driving characteristic, especially at high speeds.
With the KEYLESS-GO Comfort Package, you can check the door locks or start the engine without taking the key out of your pocket. When approached from a distance of approximately 6 m, the hidden door handles first pop out and when approached from approximately 3 m, the EQE 280 AMG unlocks the doors. Optional automatic doors provide easy entry and exit. The electrically operated doors open automatically and can be controlled from inside the car or with the key.
The Mercedes-Benz EQE 280 AMG also provides comprehensive air quality with the optional ENERGIZING AIR CONTROL Plus package and HEPA filter. The system consists of a filter, sensors, control display and air conditioning. The HEPA filter traps particles, pollen and other substances coming from outside with its high level of filtration. The active carbon coating reduces sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides as well as odours in the interior.
