New Satellite Launch from China
China has successfully launched four new satellites into space, the country's official Xinhua news agency reported. The launch was carried out using a Long March 4C rocket from the Ciuçüen Satellite Center in the northwest of the country.
After launch, the satellites settled into their planned orbital positions, making this the 544th successful payload mission aboard Long March rockets.
New satellites, Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar Equipped with (InSAR) technology, it is used for high-resolution mapping of the earth's crust. This advanced system has the ability to detect movements on the earth's surface with a precision of a few centimeters using radar waves.
InSAR satellites are critical for monitoring and studying the following natural phenomena:
- Earthquakes
- Volcanic eruptions
- Movements of glaciers
- Landslides
- Land collapses
Understanding the deformations caused by these events provides important data to scientists and researchers and contributes to the development of studies aimed at minimizing the effects of natural disasters.
China launched the first batch of these newly launched satellites, 4 PIESAT-1 It sent its satellite into space in March 2023. This new launch once again demonstrates the country's progress in satellite technology and its determination in space exploration.
