These special accents appear everywhere, from front to back and from inside to outside. Two special design concepts are offered for the open-top two-seater. The Mercedes Maybach SL 680 Monogram Series Red Ambience is characterized by the new two-tone paint finish in metallic obsidian black on MANUFAKTUR metallic red. In the Mercedes Maybach SL 680 Monogram Series White Ambiance, metallic obsidian black contrasts with MANUFAKTUR matte opalite white. Extraordinarily bright red and elegant white both represent sensuality, beauty and lightness, perfectly reflecting the philosophy and driving experience of the new model. Other exterior colors can be applied according to customers' special requests. The interior features sustainable, crystal white MANUFAKTUR Exclusive nappa leather and silver chrome trim pieces.
Iconic design refined with exclusive Maybach design elements and dual air intakes
Mercedes-Maybach SL offers a holistic sensory experience in line with the brand philosophy. The contours of the brand-specific chrome-plated radiator grille are also illuminated, as is the subtly integrated MAYBACH lettering. The characteristic bonnet bears an upright Mercedes star and a chrome strip in the middle that runs from front to rear. To further increase the exclusivity, an optional obsidian black hood with a Maybach pattern on graphite gray can be added. This very complex process is partially carried out manually. First, a base coat is applied to the hood and then hand sanded. Then the Maybach pattern is printed on it. Each part of the process is so technically complex that it is carried out with the utmost precision. The hood is then coated with transparent matte varnish, sanded by hand, and finally, another layer of transparent matte varnish is applied.
The inside of the headlights have high-quality details in rose gold color. Special front fenders emphasize the width of the vehicle with horizontal air intakes. While the frame of the windshield is completed with a bright chrome, another chrome piece adorns the sill trim. Mercedes Maybach SL attracts attention with its 5-inch forged wheels with 21-spoke or multi-spoke design.
The comprehensively insulated acoustic soft top is made of light black fabric and elegantly combines the Maybach pattern with the anthracite colour. At the rear, there are taillights with Maybach emblems, a brand-specific rear skirt with chrome trim, a special diffuser design and signature tailpipe trims with horizontal bars. Behind the seats, a pair of aerodynamically designed air intakes enhance the distinctive appearance. With the chrome strip on the hood, the two-seater offers an elegant and sporty symmetry in profile, especially when the top is open.
Inside, Maybach-specific equipment and high-gloss crystal white leather
Inside the vehicle, sustainably designed, crystal white Nappa leather creates an extremely elegant ambiance, and is also evident on the door panels, center console and the brand's signature comfortable seats. The seat upholstery features a new floral design. While the area behind the seats is covered with white leather, the seat backs and silver chrome decorations provide a striking contrast.
The fully digital instrument display and electrically adjustable center display feature Maybach-specific startup animations and display styles. The steering wheel, stainless steel pedals and stainless steel door sill trims are other distinctive features of the brand.
