Renegade, one of the pioneers of Jeep's rising chart in Turkey and offering a state-of-the-art hybrid experience with its 'e-hybrid' engine option, sold 2023 units in Turkey in 1500, and this figure constituted 41 percent of the brand's total sales.
Jeep announced that it will launch the affordable electric Renegade model in 2027. According to the statement, the price of the new car will be 25 thousand dollars. Stellantis did not share detailed information about the fully electric Renegade, but the new model may share the same infrastructure with the Citroen e-C3, which was announced in Europe last year. If this happens, Renegade will have the same 44 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery as Citroen and a range of around 320 km.
The affordable electric Renegade will join Wagoneer S and Recon in Jeep's electric lineup. Jeep is also scheduled to introduce the Wrangler-inspired electric Recon later this year.
