Ingredients for chicken tikka masala sauce
To make chicken tikka masala sauce, you first need to marinate the chicken. For this, 500 grams of boneless chicken thighs, 10 grams of red pepper powder, 5 grams of garam masala, 5 grams of powdered green cardamom, 5 grams of powdered cumin, the juice of 2 lemons, 200 grams of strained yoghurt, 1 gram of orange food coloring and salt are used.
For masala sauce: 250 grams of onion, 100 grams of tomatoes, 50 grams of tomato puree, 50 grams of strained yoghurt, 5 grams of powdered red pepper, 50 grams of coriander powder, 5 grams of cumin seeds, 20 grams of ginger, 20 grams of garlic paste, 100 ml of oil. and salt is needed.
How to make chicken tikka masala sauce
To make chicken tikka masala sauce, first we put the chicken in a pan and mix it with salt, red pepper powder, cardamom powder and lemon juice. We remove the pan from the stove, cool it and leave the chicken in the refrigerator for 6 hours.
We put strained yoghurt, food coloring and garam masala in a bowl and mix well. We add the chickens we kept in the refrigerator to this mixture and rub them all over.
We cook the chickens in the oven preset to 250 degrees for 10 minutes. Or we thread the chicken on skewers and fry it on the grill. We put the cooked chicken on a serving plate.
For the masala sauce, we heat the oil in a pan. Add cumin and onion and fry until they turn pink. We add ginger and garlic and sauté for another 5 minutes. Add tomatoes, tomato puree, strained yoghurt, powdered red pepper, powdered coriander and salt and cook until it reaches the consistency of sauce.
We pour the masala sauce over the chicken. We serve hot.
