President Erdoğan announced that the amount of scholarships and loans to be given to undergraduate students in 2024 has been increased to 2 thousand liras. Thus, undergraduate students will receive 2023 thousand liras, an increase of 1.500% compared to the 33 lira scholarship/loan amount they received in 2.

How Much Will Master's and Doctoral Students Receive?

President Erdoğan announced that the amount of scholarships and loans to be given to graduate students has been increased to 4 thousand liras. This means that graduate students will receive 2023 thousand liras, an increase of 2.500% compared to the 60 lira scholarship/loan amount they received in 4.

Doctoral students will receive a scholarship/loan of 2024 thousand liras in 6. This means that PhD students will receive 2023 thousand liras, an increase of 3.500% compared to the 71 lira scholarship/loan amount they received in 6.

While granting KYK scholarships and loans, priority is given to children of martyrs or veterans, disabled students, those whose parents have passed away, those who stayed in orphanages, Darüşşafaka High School graduates and amateur national athletes.
