CHP congress date and place

CHP Party Assembly decided to hold the 38th Ordinary Congress on 4-5 November. CHP congress will be held in Ankara Sports Hall. The CHP congress will start at 10.00 on both days.

CHP chairman election

The chairman election will be held on November 4, the first day of the CHP congress. In order to be a candidate for the chairmanship of the CHP, the signature of 5 percent of the delegates is required. So far, in addition to the current chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, İzmir Deputy Tuncay Özkan and former MP Tolga Yarman have announced their candidacy.

CHP PM and YDK election

On November 5, the second day of the CHP congress, the election of the members of the Party Assembly (PM) and the High Disciplinary Board (YDK) will be held. In order to be a candidate for PM membership in the CHP, the signature of 2 percent of the delegates is required, and to be a candidate for the YDK membership, the signature of 1 percent of the delegates is required.
