Bitci Racing Team AMS, which has been following the Italian championships outside Turkey for the last two seasons and has achieved many important rankings and podium successes with its athletes and performed our National Anthem many times, is proud of achieving the TCR Italy championship, which is an important result for both the team and our country's motor sports.
Vedat Ali Dalokay, who competed on legendary tracks such as Imola, Misano, Mugello, Monza, Vallelunga throughout the season and sang our anthem many times with 5 first places, 10 second places and 6 fourth place in the 3-legged 1 races he started, completely dominated the championship throughout the season and continued until the end. He managed to claim the championship with one race remaining.
In TCR Italy, which is considered one of the most important and challenging TCR championships in Europe, 34 teams and 14 athletes from 11 different countries, 13 in the Seq classification and 48 in the Dsg classification, compete.
Team Director İbrahim Okyay said, “Although Bitci Racing Team AMS is a young team in its third season, it has competed both in Turkey and Europe, competed in different branches such as track races, karting, offroad, and won the Teams and Pilots Championships in every branch it pursued. . To date, 3 different athletes, including 16 women, have competed in the team. In my opinion, our team, which started 2023 races in 7 different championships with 3 athletes, two of which were abroad, in the 34 season alone, has already entered the history of our country's motor sports at the top with its achievements.” He expressed his thoughts by saying.
