Tesla announced that the Cybertruck will be delivered to its owners at an event to be held at its factory in Texas on November 30. Tesla CEO Elon Musk said that increasing production for the Cybertruck will be difficult, but that they are targeting a quarter million per year. So, what kind of vehicle is the Cybertruck? Here are the details…

TESLA'S CYBERTRUCK MODEL Tesla introduced the Cybertruck model in 2019. The design of the vehicle attracted attention with its sharp lines and extreme appearance. Cybertruck was designed as an electric pickup. The vehicle is available in three different versions: Single-motor rear-wheel drive, dual-motor four-wheel drive and triple-motor four-wheel drive.

The single-motor version of the Cybertruck has a range of 250 miles, a towing capacity of 7.500 pounds, and a 6,5-0 mph time of 60 seconds. The dual-motor version has a range of 300 miles, a towing capacity of 10.000 pounds and a 4,5-0 mph acceleration of 60 seconds. The three-motor version has a range of 500 miles, a towing capacity of 14.000 pounds and a 2,9-0 mph acceleration of 60 seconds.

The prices of Cybertruck are as follows: The single-motor version is $39.900, the dual-motor version is $49.900 and the three-motor version is $69.900. The vehicle also needs to pay an extra $10.000 for its fully autonomous driving feature.

TESLA'S CYBERTRUCK DELIVERIES Tesla announced that the first deliveries of the Cybertruck model will be made at its Gigafactory in Texas on November 30. This date will occur one year after Tesla's previously given delivery date. Tesla's CEO Elon Musk said that increasing production for Cybertruck would be extremely difficult.

Musk said Tesla is targeting a quarter million Cybertrucks per year in the future, but that won't happen until after 2024. In the announced report, it was stated that the pilot production capacity for Cybertruck was 125.000 units.

It is estimated that approximately one million pre-orders have been received so far for Tesla's Cybertruck model. This shows that the vehicle attracted great interest. However, Tesla also needs to compete with its rivals before delivering the Cybertruck. Other electric pickup models such as Ford F-150 Lightning and Rivian R1T are also preparing to take their place in the market.
