Skyworth is Establishing a Battery Factory in Turkey!

Chinese technology giant Skyworth has partnered with Ulu Motor to enter the Turkish market. The company, which started its operations under the name Skyworth Motor Limited Company, plans to open an 2024 + 800C architecture battery production and industrial storage factory in 4.

Historic Collaboration from Skyworth and Ulu Motor

As one of China's largest technology companies, Skyworth operates in areas such as electric vehicles, smart home systems, artificial intelligence and cloud computing. Skywell is known as the electric vehicle manufacturer of Skyworth. Skywell is represented by Ulu Motor in Türkiye and 15 countries in Europe.

Ulu Motor serves in the automotive industry as one of the Ulubaşlar Group companies. Ulu Motor CEO Mahmut Ulubaş met with Skywell Founding Partner and CEO Wu Longba, who came to Istanbul in June, and agreed to open a joint battery factory in Turkey.

Where will the Battery Factory be established?

Skyworth Motor Limited Company, established in partnership with Skyworth and Ulu Motor, will open an 2024 + 800C architecture battery production and industrial storage factory in Turkey in 4. This battery technology will play an important role in the transformation of the automotive market. Batteries can be charged from 30% to 80% in just 6,5 minutes.

It is not yet clear where the battery factory of Skyworth Motor Limited Company will be established. However, the search for a location in the Marmara and Central Anatolia Regions continues. During his visit to Istanbul, Wu Longba visited the Informatics Valley and met with investment offices.

The battery factory, which will be opened in partnership with Skyworth and Ulu Motor, will make significant contributions to the Turkish economy.
