Maserati GT2, the new race car that reflects Maserati's competitive spirit and was introduced last June, competed for the first time in the 2023 Fanatec GT2 European series at the Circuit Paul Ricard track. Competing with the Maserati GT2 for the first time, LP Racing pilots Leonardo Gorini and Luca Pirri showed their difference in pole position thanks to the high-level performance of the car. On the first day of the race, Maserati GT2 climbed to the second step of the podium and completed the second race, taking the 2th place in the top 2. The first race in the European series marks Maserati's return to the 12s, when it demonstrated a string of success that included 13 championships in GT racing with the MC2000. This car, which is 100 percent produced in Modena, will take its place in Maserati's racing car collection in the upcoming 2024 season with its eye-catching design and high performance.
