YEO Enerji Yatırımları A.Ş., a 100% subsidiary of EO Technology, signed a cooperation agreement with GETAS Energy Company WLL for the Solar Power Plant Project to be built in 20 different locations with a capacity of 84,8 MWP, for which a 4-year purchase guarantee is given by the Bahrain government.
With the agreement, YEO Technology will build solar power plants for the Formula 1 Bahrain Circuit, Bahrain University, Bahrain National Fair and Convention Center and Al-Dana Amphitheater.
The first F1 track in the Middle East
Within the scope of the agreement, 1% shares of GETAS Gulf Solar Energy Company WLL (SPV), which is the investor of 84,8 separate SPP projects with a total capacity of 4 MWp, including the Bahrain Formula 10 track, will be transferred to YEO Enerji Yatırımları A.Ş.
The Bahrain Grand Prix is known as the first Formula 1 race held in the Middle East. With this cooperation, a solar power plant with a capacity of 1 MWp will be built on a turnkey basis at the Bahrain Formula 23,5 Circuit.
In addition, the turnkey construction rights of three solar power plants (SPPs) with a total capacity of 61,3 MWp for the University of Bahrain, Bahrain National Fair and Congress Center and Al-Dana Amphitheatre will belong to YEO Technology.
