Good News of 5000 Lira Holiday Bonus for Retirees

In his statement after the Cabinet meeting, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced that a one-time holiday bonus of 5000 lira will be given to retirees who are not working. This payment also includes those receiving widows' and orphans' pensions.

President Erdoğan gave important good news to non-working retirees. Erdoğan said, "We will make a one-time payment of 5000 lira to our non-working retirees." This payment will be deposited into retirees' accounts in the first half of November.

The number of retirees who will benefit from this payment exceeds 12 million. Working retirees will not benefit from this payment.

Those Receiving Widow and Orphan Pension Will Also Benefit from the Payment

The holiday bonus announced by President Erdoğan also concerns those who receive widow and orphan pensions. Those who receive widow and orphan pension will benefit from this payment according to the salary progress rate.

Accordingly, widows with no children will benefit at a rate of 75 percent, widows with children at a rate of 50 percent, and orphans at a rate of 25 percent.

For example, a holiday bonus of 3750 lira will be paid to a widow and childless person, 2500 lira to a widow and child, and 1250 lira to an orphan.
