Batırık Recipe: How to Make Bulgur Salad of Mediterranean Cuisine?
Batırık is one of the most delicious and healthy salads of the Mediterranean region. Materials Required for Batırık
You can use the following materials to make batik:
- Green pepper
- Pepper paste
- Tomato paste
- dried mint
- Lemon juice
You can adjust the amount of ingredients according to your taste and the number of people.
How to Make Batırık?
To make batik, first we put the bulgur in a bowl. We add cold water, olive oil and finely chopped tomatoes. We knead the bulgur until it becomes soft. We add pepper paste, tomato paste and dried mint to the softened bulgur. We knead again.
Then we add finely chopped onion, parsley, green pepper and cucumber to the bulgur. We mix thoroughly by hand. After adding salt and lemon juice, we add as much cold water as we desire.
Batırık is ready to serve. You can serve it with lettuce, vine leaves or cabbage. Enjoy your meal.
