What is the 31st Term POMEM Application Date? Zamat?
Police Academy Presidency announced the interview results for the 30th Term of Police Vocational Training Centers (POMEM) recruitment, which is held twice a year. Applications for the 30th Term POMEM recruitment were received between 01 and 19 May 2023.
An official date has not been announced yet for the 31st Term POMEM recruitment. However, considering the recruitments made in previous years, the 31st Term POMEM application date is expected to be announced towards the end of the year. Candidates can follow the application date and conditions on the official website of the Police Academy, pa.edu.tr.
What are the 31st Term POMEM Application Requirements?
Candidates who want to apply for POMEM recruitment must meet certain conditions. These conditions are as follows:
a) Being a Turkish citizen, b) Having a bachelor's degree, associate's degree or graduating from higher education institutions abroad whose equivalence is accepted by the Council of Higher Education,
c) Having received a score at or above the base score determined by the Ministry in KPSS, (for undergraduate graduates, the KPSS undergraduate score in 2021 or 2022 is in the P3 score type (60,00), for associate degree graduates, the KPSS associate score in 2022 is in the P93 score type. (Having received a base score of 65,00 or above.)
ç) To have received at least 8% of the score determined in paragraph (c) of the 80th article of the POMEM Entrance Regulation for the spouses or children of martyrs or duty disabled people, (KPSS exam held in 2021 or 2022 for undergraduate graduates of the spouses and children of martyrs or duty disabled people). (To have a minimum undergraduate score of P3 score type (48,00), and for associate degree graduates, to have a base score or above of KPSS associate degree P2022 score type (93) in 52,00.)
Candidates with a bachelor's degree cannot apply with an associate degree. The applications of candidates who apply in this way will be deemed invalid.
d) In age corrections made after reaching the age of 18, being under the age of 01 as of 30 January of the year in which the exam is held, provided that the age before the correction is taken into account (being born on 01 January 1994 and later),
e) Not being shorter than 162 cm for women and 167 cm for men, and having a BMI (body mass index) between 18 (inclusive) and 27 (inclusive),
f) Not having a legal obstacle to carrying a weapon or performing armed duty,
g) To meet the conditions specified in the Health Conditions Regulation in terms of health status,
g) Even if the periods specified in Article 26.09.2004 of the Turkish Penal Code No. 5237 dated 53 have passed, the candidate;
1) Not to be sentenced to imprisonment for a period of one year or more, even if it is decided to postpone the announcement of the verdict due to an intentionally committed crime,
2) Crimes against the security of the state, crimes against the Constitutional order and the functioning of this order, embezzlement, extortion, bribery, theft, fraud, forgery, abuse of trust, fraudulent bankruptcy, bid rigging, even if an amnesty has been granted or a decision has been made to postpone the announcement of the verdict. Not being convicted of tampering with the performance of an act, laundering property values arising from crime, smuggling or crimes against sexual immunity, or not having an ongoing investigation or prosecution due to these crimes, or not having a prosecution that has not resulted in reconciliation,
h) Not to have worked in brothels, joints, brothels, solitary residences and similar places where prostitution takes place, or not to have engaged in acts of intermediary or waiting, to produce and sell all kinds of written, audio and video works that are contrary to public morality and decency, regardless of the material on which they are recorded, or to engage in gambling, Not having any judicial or administrative investigation or prosecution ongoing due to drugs or stimulants, not being subject to administrative sanctions or being convicted for these matters,
i) To submit a written statement that he is not a member of any political party or subsidiaries of political parties as of the temporary registration date,
i) Not being treated or receiving treatment due to alcohol, drug or stimulant use,
j) Not to be deprived of the use of public rights,
k) Not being expelled from police training institutions, except for the provisions of the Health Regulation,

How to Apply for POMEM?
POMEM applications will be made online via e-Government. Candidates can use their e-Government password. https://ais.pa.edu.tr/ They will fill in the relevant fields by logging in to the address. They will click on the “SAVE CANDIDATE APPLICATION” button to complete the application process. Applications will be made between the specified dates.
