BYD Türkiye Launch: Electric Vehicle Giant Stepped into the Turkish Market
Chinese automotive giant BYD has officially entered the Turkish market. At the launch, attended by Motor1.com Turkey, we had the opportunity to meet the electric models that the brand will bring to our country.
Han Model: Symbol of Power and Performance
BYD's four-door sedan Han will be able to produce 517 hp (380 kW) and an impressive 700 Nm of torque. Offering four-wheel drive, this model demonstrates its claim on power and performance by completing the 0-100 km/h acceleration in just 3.9 seconds. In addition, with its 85.4 kWh battery, the Han model will have a range of 521 km according to WLTP data.
Seal: Elegance and Power Together
The Seal model comes with 530 hp (390 kW) and 670 Nm of torque. This model, which accelerates in 3.8 seconds, has a four-wheel drive system. One of its outstanding features is its large 53-liter front trunk. Additionally, with its 82.5 kWh battery, Seal has a range of 520 km.
Atto3: Electric SUV is on the Road
The first model that BYD will bring to Turkey will be the SUV named Atto3. The brand is trying to offer this model to our country with a 10 percent SCT limit. Atto3, which will arrive in November, will be able to produce 204 hp (150 kW) and 310 Nm of torque. This SUV model, which has only a front-wheel drive system, will take 0 seconds to accelerate from 100 to 7.3 km/h. It also attracts attention with its 420 km range.
Pricing: Not Yet Announced
The prices of these three models that the brand will bring to Turkey have not been announced yet. However, considering the expected performance and features, we can say that an exciting competition is at the door.
