Pierre Gasly and his manager disappointed with the transition to Alpine

Pierre Gasly has switched from AlphaTauri to Alpine for the 2023 Formula 1 season. However, Gasly and his manager have not been able to find their hopes for the team so far.

Gasly took Fernando Alonso's seat at Alpine and was hoping for better results. However, he has had a hard time even struggling for points so far. Gasly, whose best result this year was seventh in Monaco, took a third place in the sprint race in Belgium.

Alpine is sixth overall and will finish the season at this point, unless it comes as a big surprise.

There have been significant changes in Alpine's management recently and it is thought that there is a kind of chaos within the team.

“Alpine's car this year fell a little short of our expectations,” Gasly's manager, Julien Le Goff, told RMC. said.

“So yes, there is some disappointment on our part.”

“Pierre didn't leave AlphaTauri for the sake of fighting for a point or two. I don't think it's a secret."

Le Goff added that the relationship between Gasly and Esteban Ocon, who have barely spoken to each other for a long time but were teammates at Alpnie this year, is going well.

"Everything went well, there were no problems for a long time. They even had fun together."

“Pierre has had great support from the team so far. He felt at home from his first visits to Viry-Châtillon and Enstone. He was very happy to see people who believed in him here.”

“His relationship with the engineers and the garage soon became very good.”
