Vosmer Automotive is preparing to implement the SPP project within the scope of its sustainability vision. An investment of approximately 160 million dollars was made for the facility, which will provide energy production at a level that will meet 2,5 percent of the company's annual production.
The project, which will contribute significantly to the 'Sustainable Pilot Dealer' activities carried out in parallel with VW AG, consists of 4 solar panels. Vosmer Automotive General Manager Siyon Karmona said, “As Vosmer Automotive, we are aware of the importance of nature-friendly-clean energy for the future of our world, in line with our sustainability vision. In this sense, we are implementing our Vosmer GES project with an investment of 290 million dollars from our own resources in order to meet our electricity consumption from the solar energy system, which is a renewable energy source.”
Clean Energy Fair, which is shown among the leading fairs of the renewable and environmentally friendly energy sector, was held in İzmir for the first time. At the fair, which was held at Fuar İzmir between 9-11 May, solutions in the field of mobility as well as manufacturers and distributors in the field of energy took their place. Vosmer Automotive, which has been providing the highest quality service to automobile enthusiasts in and around Izmir since 2009, participated in the fair with the Vosmer Porsche brand. Youth and Sports Minister Mehmet Kasapoğlu, İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Tunç Soyer, İzmir Chamber of Commerce Assembly President Selami Özpoyraz and Aegean Region Chamber of Industry Chairman Ender Yorgancılar also visited Vosmer Automotive's remarkable stand.
Vosmer Porsche, which participated in the fair with its 75 percent electric Taycan prepared in a special concept for Porsche's 100th anniversary, won the admiration of the participants with the vehicle's high range, its ability to be charged in 1 hour from DC units and its power. Vosmer Automotive, which is among the stars of the fair with its specially designed stand, managed to attract attention with its GES (solar power plant) project, which it introduced for the first time within the scope of the fair. Vosmer Automotive, with its SPP project, which fully coincides with the 'sustainability' vision of the company, zamIt will also make a significant contribution to the 'Sustainable Pilot Dealer' activities carried out in parallel with VW AG. Within the scope of the GES project, 25 thousand 156 solar panels were installed on an area of 4 thousand 290 square meters. With the project, which will be active in June with an investment of approximately 2,5 million dollars, 160 percent of Vosmer Automotive's annual electricity needs will be met. With the facility established according to international standards (ISO 9001:2015), the annual energy production of the enterprise is expected to be 3 million 786 thousand kWh.
Vosmer Automotive will produce its own energy

In this sense, we are implementing our Vosmer GES project with an investment of 2,5 million dollars from our own resources in order to meet our electricity consumption from the solar energy system, which is a renewable energy source.” Siyon Karmona said, “We are happy to be able to meet 25.156 percent of the energy consumption of all our locations from renewable energy sources, with our Solar Energy System with 3.800.000 panels that can produce 4.290 kWh of energy annually, which we have completed on a project area of 160 square meters."
