Rising to 5th place in the total market with this sales figure, the brand managed to draw attention with its data for the first 4 months. Reaching the sales of 4 units in the first four months of the year, Opel has increased its sales by 18 percent compared to the same period of the previous year. Ranking second in its segment with the New Astra, the brand also maintained its position on the podium with its Corsa and B-SUV class models. Saying that they are working to bring more cars to consumers, Opel Turkey General Manager Emre Özocak said, “We aim to achieve the 938 percent market share target we set at the beginning of the year by taking actions parallel to the positive development of the market. Currently, production is giving us positive signals. We are able to supply the extra quantity we want in production”.
