A new font and a new Basalt Gray color stand out in the front, side and rear logos of the new 2008s. The E-2008 has an "E" logo in Dichroic Blue and White. At the rear, the PEUGEOT lettering runs across the entire width of the boot lid.

2008 is the second model to adopt the new PEUGEOT light signature, following the new 508 sedan and 508 SW models. This is further augmented in the new 2008 by the three vertical light claws integrated into the glossy black inserts on the bumper. In this way, it emphasizes the strong personality and robust SUV design of 2008. All versions have this new light signature. On the GT versions, the striking effect of the three claws is further accentuated by the three light modules that illuminate the full-LED headlights, which are used for the first time. With its new façade, the 2008 also carries the new PEUGEOT logo; It includes a special horizontal grille design that is wider, integrated with the headlights and strengthens the vehicle's stance. At the rear, with a redesigned light signature, the new 2008 features new LED taillights in all versions. The iconic three claws that characterize the rear of PEUGEOT cars have been reinterpreted. The taillights are thin and elegant, consisting of three horizontal pairs of interlocking slats that reinforce the car's sense of width. Also, the reversing lights and turn signals are LED.
