Hyundai Targets Third Win in Nürburgring 24-Hour Endurance Race

Nürburgring, known as the world's hardest track under the name of Green Hell, is preparing to host 24 Hours of endurance races. This annual race will witness the fierce struggle of Touring and GT racing cars. More than 25,4 vehicles will take off on the track with a lap length of approximately 200 km. While more than 700 pilots will be allowed to participate in the race, Hyundai Motorsport will also give N production models the opportunity to compete with two Elantra N TCRs in the Touring class. The vehicles, which will be driven by Spanish Mikel Azcona, German Marc Basseng and Manuel Lauck, will be led by the American IMSA TCR champion Bryan Herta Auto Sports team. Hyundai Motorsport is aiming for its third consecutive win by winning this challenging race.

Hyundai Driving Experience (HDX) will feature two i2 Fastback N Cup cars in the VT30 class. HDX trainer Marcus Willhardt will use the first tool while the other will be used alternately by sharing media members from Germany, America and Korea.

Hyundai will set up a large-scale hospitality stand in the paddock area of ​​the track and host N fans, media and other visitors from around the world at this large-scale facility. In this special race where various N models will be introduced, Hyundai i20 N WRC and N Vision 74 concept vehicles will also be exhibited.
